Secure Attachment in Childhood

Boris Cyrulnik (psychiatrist) opens this training with an invitation to think deeply about attachment and security. He offers tools for assessing whether an attachment is secure or insecure, and for grasping what this means for a child’s development, organized around three pillars that build and shape attachment: biological interactions, emotional bonds, and the role of language.

The presentation also takes stock of today’s social landscape, reflecting on the structural transformations of the family — same-sex couples, parents who conceive through assisted reproduction, and single parents.

A conference in partnership with the ASBL Education and Family (University of Mons) and TrainingPsy Australia (H4 Publishing / H4 Éditions, Montreal, Canada).
